The Perils of Melody
— by JonWoods JonWoods
These days we've been working with some fantastic new women. I would gladly hire most of them again and again. However because of budgetary considerations we can't do that, so we must press on and do the best we can. With that in mind, I'm deeply grateful that the venerable Nimzo came to town and sponsored another shoot with our "Rookie of the Year" Melody Marks https://twitter.com/MelodyMarksxxx This was not a custom shoot for him, but Nimzo was acting as executive producer, so the least I could do was to try to get as many of his favorite elements into the story as I could.

When I started Melody's tale with "Melody Marks, Detective," I was hoping to portray her as an amateur sleuth, in the great tradition of snoopy female investigators that dates back almost 90 years. I also wanted to incorporate some elements from Lorelei's magnum opus, the "To Be Continued" series from the Harmony Concepts http://harmonymax.com era. But hey, why stop there? For the longest time I've wanted to do an homage to John Willie's outdoor post ties, and I believe I'd never find a better candidate for this than Ms. Marks.

In the cliffhanger ending from the previous feature, our sweet damsel was loaded into a plane bound for parts unknown and a decidedly uncertain fate. We find out when she lands that Melody's fallen into the clutches of none other than "The Baron" (Eric Holman, who was good enough to reprise his role from a quarter of a century ago). As a side note, we did still have The Baron's medal-covered vest from the series, but I wasn't going to have him wear it. I figured the famous hat would be enough. But Lorelei insisted that he put the vest on over his black villain shirt, and who am I to argue with the character's creator?

In Lorelei's story from the "TBE series," he was sentenced to life, but wealth and position got him an early release, and now he's out for revenge on Cathy Drew (Catharine Beaumont). However, since she's disappeared he settled for vengeance against Cathy's only known relative: Melody Marks!

At the last moment, our plucky damsel was saved by a mysterious masked figure. In another reference to Harmony history, Melody's rescuer turns out to be a former superhero known as "The Enigma." His good-guy days long behind him, the dark figure has decided to train Melody to be a valuable bondage slave. And so Melody went through some training which included high heels, gloves and black sheer-to-waist pantyhose. Otherwise it wouldn't have been a Nimzo project. Ms. Marks gave an outstanding performance throughout, and she did especially well with the dildo-sucking and the vibrator scenes.

"The Perils of Melody" was an unexpected departure from where I thought her detective story-arc was originally headed. I hope it won't be too long until I can have this gorgeous blonde holding a flashlight while she sneaks through spooky attics and then get bound and gagged and try to attract attention while tapping her high heels against a locked door. You know, the classics.

I'd like to congratulate Savannah Sixx https://twitter.com/TheSavannahSixx on becoming a Penthouse Pet. Over the years I've had the honor and pleasure of working with a number of Pets, and aside from being beautiful and sexy (a requisite for the position), they've all been sweet, genuinely nice women. And Savannah is certainly a wonderful addition to their ranks.

I included this little fantasy with Savannah after Melody's story because of the fetishy style of wardrobe she wore while she was tied up, which I felt was thematic with the main story. This particular scene was the last one we shot that day. Since this was the first time we worked together, I didn't have anything specific planned for the afternoon. So for the final set we went into the wardrobe room and she chose her outfit for the scene. Ideally, I would've had Ms. Sixx wearing some nice black boots for the improvised story, but she has small (size 6.5) feet, so we had to find some appropriate heels for her ensemble in wardrobe.

As I'd mentioned previously, Savannah was fascinated by the way she looks when she was tied up and kept looking down at her bonds. To remedy that Lorelei set up a full-length mirror so this long-haired beauty could see herself. Later as I was editing this scene I noticed that every now and then the gorgeous brunette can be observed catching a glimpse of herself. But who could blame her? She's totally mesmerizing!
